Frequently Asked Questions?

Pricing and Billing Terms

Our goal is to provide high-quality lawn care along with simple and convenient billing options. We accept payment by cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Cash payments must be received by the crew on the day services are performed.

For Debit and Credit Card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express), we offer two payment options. Option 1 is AutoPay, where your card is automatically charged on the day of service and a receipt is emailed to you. This is the only payment option available for one-time/as-needed services. Option 2 is Invoicing, where an Invoice is emailed at the end of the month for services completed and can be paid by clicking the secure payment link included. All Invoices are due within ten (10) days. A $5.00 late fee will be applied to Invoices that become more than five (5) days past due. Accounts with past-due balances may have services suspended until the account is brought current.
Our pricing is based on the size of your lawn, the presence of any obstacles or hazards, and the frequency of service.

Will my yard be mowed the same day every week?

We make every effort to keep your service scheduled on the same day each week. Weekly mowing services are completed first on route days, followed by bi-weekly services and then one-time or add-on mowings. However, weather conditions such as heavy rain or flooding, road closures, traffic congestion, and other unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. If we are unable to service your property on the scheduled day, we will make every effort to complete the service on the following day.

What days of the week do you mow?

We work Monday through Friday. If necessary, we will use Saturdays and Sundays to help make up for any delays experienced during the week. We make every effort to maintain the same route every week. Several factors can affect our schedule, so we cannot guarantee a specific day or time range that your lawn will be serviced.

Bi-Weekly Service

Bi-weekly services are offered, but we do not recommend this service, especially in the faster-growing portion of the season (May-August). Your yard growth may vary due to a variety of conditions, i.e. watering intervals, fertilizing schedules, rainfall, etc.

Bi-weekly servicing also lends itself to such problems and complaints as the following: thatch build-up, grass clumps, excessive grass clippings, grass lines or ridges which appear that we skipped while mowing, and the appearance of an uneven cut in the yard. Since it is know beforehand that the grass will be taller and thicker with bi-weekly mowing, we will not be able to send a crew back to correct these issues or guarantee these services as we do on our weekly services.

Will my lawn be mowed when its wet?

As a professional lawn care service our clients expect us to keep their grass mowed on schedule. This requires us to make good judgement calls on when to delay a mow. During months of the year when your lawn is actively growing it is sometimes better for us to come out and mow the lawn wet than it is to skip the lawn and run the risk of it going multiple weeks without a cut. We will never mow an oversaturated lawn.

How do you determine the height that you cut my lawn?

We determine what height to cut your lawn by a number of factors but most commonly it is based on the time of the year. When we begin mowing your lawn in the spring we will mow it lower. As the temperatures warm up your grass usually needs to be cut higher in order to combat the heat. During the hot summer months, we mow your lawn even higher, allowing it to be as thick and green as possible. As the weather transitions to the cooler fall months, we will slowly begin to cut the lawn a little shorter each week. If you would like your lawn cut higher or shorter at anytime please contact us and we will do our very best to cut your lawn at the height you prefer. For bi-weekly cuts this can be more challenging during certain times of the year.

What months of the year do you mow?

Our mowing season typically begins in late March to early April. At the start of the season, we inspect each property and will skip service until your lawn has reached the appropriate growth and is ready to be mowed. The mowing season generally ends between late October and early December, depending on weather conditions, grass type, and your preferences—such as whether you would like fallen leaves mulched into the lawn during the fall months.

Yard Access

Your gate must remain unlocked or have a key accessible for mowing service to be completed. If you prefer not to unlock your gate, we recommend that you use combo locks and that you provide us with the combination or have a hid-a-key. We are unable to send our crews back or issue any credit for not mowing inside a locked fenced area.

Pets/Yard Debris

We appreciate you letting us know if you have any pets that are kept outside so that the crew will be aware of them. Our crews will make every effort not to let your pet through the gate, but we cannot guarantee your pet will not escape from your yard. Please leave your pet inside during your scheduled service. Please pick up all pet droppings, toys, large bones, large rocks, etc. the day before we mow. If hit by a lawn mower, objects like these in your yard are hazardous to our crews and others. Serious damage can occur to your property, our equipment, or our crews.

Pet droppings can carry diseases and when hit by the mower or smashed under the tires, these diseases can be carried to another yard putting their pets in danger. We understand some droppings may be missed, but if it is common occurrence to find pet droppings every time we service your property we will have to suspend service for the safety and well-being of our other clients.
